JOHESU Seeks Makinde’s Intervention Over Non-compliance with Payment of Arrears by LAUTECH Management

The Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU) of the Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital (LAUTH), Ogbomoso, has called on Governor Seyi Makinde to intervene in the non-compliance of the university's management with his directives on the payment of arrears owed to union members. In a statement signed by the chairmen of the Medical and Health Union, NUHAP, NASU, and SSAUTHRIAI, the union highlighted the need for urgent action on unpaid arrears, decaying infrastructure, and the protection of workers' rights. The union commended the governor for his commitment to workers' welfare, including the approval and release of funds to offset promotion arrears and minimum wage consequential adjustments.
