Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Management, Festus Keyamo, announced that the removal of fuel and foreign exchange subsidies enabled the government to raise about $500 million for reconstructing the Lagos airport and other aviation infrastructure. The funds were raised within two years without borrowing. The project aims to improve aviation facilities in the country.
