The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that Nigeria's voters' register has exceeded 103 million ahead of the 2027 general elections. INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, disclosed this at a strategic workshop with media executives in Abuja. The Continuous Voter Registration exercise attracted over 10.7 million new registrants across three phases. The figures are subject to final verification using the Automated Biometric Identification System.
