The Kano State Police Command has warned politicians and their supporters against displaying weapons during political activities, stating that such conduct could threaten public peace and security. The command invited Hon. Aminu Abdullahi Warkal for questioning over a video circulating on social media in which he was allegedly seen displaying a firearm suspected to be a pump-action rifle. The video was discovered during the command's routine cyber patrol and appeared to have been recorded at a political gathering. The Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, directed Warkal to report to the command headquarters in Bompai, Kano.
