FG donates N250m to families of 37 miners who died in NSCDC custody

The Federal Government has donated N250 million to the families of 37 illegal artisanal miners who died while in the custody of the Niger State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). The donation was made to support the families of the deceased miners. The miners died while in NSCDC custody. The government has not disclosed further details about the circumstances of the deaths.
