Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the African Democratic Congress Lagos State governorship candidate, said he has no issue with former Anambra State governor Peter Obi despite political differences between Obi and the party's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. He spoke in an interview with BBC Igbo uploaded on Monday, saying his primary political interest remained Lagos State while reaffirming his commitment to the ADC and its presidential candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections. Rhodes-Vivour said his first priority and first love is Lagos State and that he must always make decisions based on Lagos first. He recalled that his political journey had previously brought him into the same political camp with both Atiku and Obi, noting the two politicians had occupied different positions in successive election cycles.
