The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to provide a list of personnel on duty at Akanu Ibiam International Airport on January 19, 2022. The order was made during the trial of Abba Kyari and other suspended officers of the defunct Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT). The defendants are facing an eight-count charge related to tampering with cocaine recovered from arrested drug traffickers. The case was adjourned due to the absence of a defence witness.
