Amazon has hired former Microsoft Copilot CTO Pedram Rezaei as a distinguished engineer. He is joining AWS's Agentic AI and Emerging Technologies group, according to an internal email announcement. Rezaei spent two decades at Microsoft, most recently training foundation models on its Superintelligence team, and served as Copilot's CTO until June. At Amazon, he will initially work on the Quick and Kiro products.
