The Plateau State Government condemned an attack on Fulani herders returning from Bukuru Kara Livestock Market to Bassa LGA, in which gunmen killed two people and injured eight others. Governor Mutfwang ordered security agencies to investigate the identities and motives of the attackers. The government extended condolences to the victims' families and called the incident sad and unacceptable.
