A fatal road crash occurred on Monday along the JBD/ORE route in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, resulting in the deaths of nine people. The crash involved a white Toyota Hiace commercial bus belonging to Delta Line and a white Sino Truck commercial vehicle belonging to Bill Gas Solution Ltd. According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the incident happened at about 4:55 p.m. at the Bethel area within the Ijebu-Ode Unit Command. Preliminary investigation identified speed violation as the probable cause, and the road was wet due to rain at the time of the crash.
