The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has defended the Kebbi State government's record on workers' welfare. It faulted claims made by Malami. The NLC stated that workers are entitled to accurate information, fair treatment, decent work, fair remuneration, career progression, social protection, security of employment, and timely payment of legitimate entitlements.
