The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has unveiled a pipeline of major offshore projects expected to attract significant new investment into Nigeria's upstream petroleum sector. The commission stated that it is intensifying efforts to convert the country's hydrocarbon resources into producing assets and sustainable economic value. The investment outlook was presented at the Nigeria Investment Forum 2026 in New York by NUPRC Chief Executive Mrs. Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, represented by Executive Commissioner Dr. Kelechi Ofoegbu. Eyesan highlighted emerging opportunities across offshore, gas, and brownfield assets, noting that regulatory reforms, improved project economics, and a growing pipeline of development-ready assets are creating new prospects.
