Fourteen players trained on Monday evening as Nigeria's Super Falcons began preparations for Friday's 2028 Olympics Women's Football Tournament qualifier against Comoros. The return leg will be played at the same Remo Stars Stadium on Tuesday evening. Interim Head Coach Augustine Eguavoen released Oluwakemi Adegbuyi and Favour Nkwocha back to the U17 women's team, the Flamingos, who are scheduled to depart Nigeria on Wednesday for the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup in Morocco. The 10-time African champions are seeking to return to the Olympic tournament after a 16-year absence two years ago.
