Captain Ado Sanusi, CEO of Aero Contractors, called for increased investment in Nigeria's aviation sector during the airline's 67th anniversary in Lagos. He urged the Federal Government to make aviation a deliberate component of the Renewed Hope Agenda to enhance competitiveness and prevent jobs and capital from moving to other destinations. Sanusi warned that inadequate investment in airport infrastructure, services, and maintenance could turn Nigerian airports into "ghost airports" as neighboring countries develop facilities to attract Nigerian passengers and businesses. He emphasized that aviation is used as a catalyst for economic growth in many nations.
