Justice Saulawa and reward for integrity

In a 2023 article titled 'Judges on a Scale,' the writer narrated experiences in the Dutsin-Ma Magistrate Court presided over by now-retired Supreme Court Justice Ibrahim Musa Saulawa. The writer expressed happiness that his views about the justice were vindicated by Chief Justice of Nigeria Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun at a recent special valedictory court session marking Saulawa's retirement. The CJN said, 'We celebrate a judicial career that has spanned more than four decades and has traversed virtually every level of the Nigerian Judiciary.' She added that they celebrate the values that characterized that journey and the example his years of service provided to generations of judicial officers and members of the legal profession.
