External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar will pay an official visit to Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, and Ethiopia from October 6 to 10, 2026. During the visit, he will hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts and meet with the leadership of all three nations to review bilateral ties and cooperation. Discussions will cover trade and economic issues, development cooperation, capacity building, and people-to-people ties, as well as regional and global matters of mutual interest. In Addis Ababa, he will also chair the Regional Heads of Mission Conference. The visit reflects India's commitment to deepen its partnership with Africa and further solidarity with the Global South.
