Governor Seyi Makinde, the presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, has called for a comprehensive investigation into the crash of a Nigerian Air Force ATR-42 aircraft near the Igbokoda Naval Base in Ondo State. The crash resulted in the deaths of at least 25 people. Makinde also raised questions about the state of military equipment and welfare under the Tinubu administration, noting previous military aircraft crashes in the country.
