The Northern Nigeria Governors' Forum (NNGF) has expressed grief over the crash of a Nigerian Air Force ATR-42 aircraft in Igbokoda, Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, which killed all persons on board. Chairman of the forum and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, issued a condolence message on Tuesday on behalf of his colleagues. He sympathised with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian Air Force, the Armed Forces, and the bereaved families. Yahaya described the incident as a tragic reminder of the sacrifices made by Nigerian military personnel in service to the nation.
