The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has called for stronger social, healthcare, and protection systems to ensure older persons in Nigeria live with dignity, security, and independence. Executive Secretary Chief Tony Ojukwu, SAN, made the call at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday. The commission emphasized the need for full enjoyment of human rights by older persons.
