AI Whistleblowers Say Researchers Are Checking AI Less Frequently

At a New York City Council hearing on AI risks, three AI lab whistleblowers testified that researchers are checking AI less frequently. Jacob Coxon, Alex Turner, and Daniel Kokotajlo said that AI is increasingly driving code and research processes. Representatives from AI labs also testified at the hearing.
