The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) has taken over a N460.75 million fraud trial in which Austin Albert remains absent. The prosecution had been led by the Office of the Inspector General of Police, which did not oppose the takeover. The prosecution sought time to reconcile positions and transfer the case file from the IGP's office to the AGF's office.
