The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has announced reforms aimed at improving service delivery and expanding pension coverage in Nigeria. At the 2026 Customer Service Week in Abuja on Tuesday, PenCom Director-General Ms Omolola Oloworaran, represented by Head of Surveillance Department Mr Abdulrahman Saleem, said the theme "Extra Mile" reflects the commission's commitment to service excellence and its vision of ensuring every Nigerian worker enjoys a secure and dignified retirement. Oloworaran stated that PenCom continues to pursue reforms to build a transparent, sustainable, and customer-focused pension system. She added that the reforms are driven by the need to strengthen trust among contributors, retirees, pension operators, employers, and other stakeholders.
