Uber has acquired business catering firm ezCater for $2.3 billion, marking its latest move in a series of acquisitions in the food-delivery industry. The purchase comes weeks after DoorDash bought a college campus meal-delivery business from Wonder for $300 million. Both companies have been consolidating the European food-delivery market, with DoorDash acquiring Deliveroo and Wolt, and Uber acquiring Delivery Hero.
