The Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) has set a three-year target for Nigeria's equestrian federation to meet the requirements for full membership. This target was given to guide the Nigerian federation towards achieving the necessary standards. Full membership would allow Nigeria to participate more fully in international equestrian events.
