In a sequel to his previous article on the Owo Ranch project, Ochereome Nnanna questions Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah's decision to allocate over 10,000 hectares for a ranch at Owo in Nkanu East LGA. He states that if the project is intended for corporate, professional ranching, the youths of Enugu State should be strong stakeholders for ownership, empowerment and security. He warns that if it is meant to appease the Sultan of Sokoto by accommodating Fulani herdsmen, it would be a sell-out, alleging it could create a colony for ISWAP jihadists who sometimes masquerade as herdsmen and bandits.
