Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has ordered immediate medical intervention and urgent measures in response to the Trans-Forcados oil spill that has affected 216 communities. He also approved the construction of a jetty for the Odidi community. The spill has caused significant disruption in the affected areas.
