Muhammad Ahmad Musa wrote a tribute to Malam Nafi'u Baba Ahmad, dated 24th Rabi'ul-Akhhar 1448, corresponding to 6th October, 2026, from Gidan radio close to Gudu cemetery. The tribute, described as a Hausa-English expression of love, gratitude and Du'ah, quotes Qur'an Chapter Zumar, verse 30. Musa said he lived next to Malam Nafi'u Baba Ahmad for almost a decade and had known him for more than thirty years as a senior, elder, mentor, teacher, adviser and friend.
