The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has warned of the risk of Ebola importation after Kenya confirmed its first case linked to the current Bundibugyo virus outbreak. Kenya is the fourth country to report a case, following the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, and France. The NCDC urged heightened surveillance and preparedness measures.
