The Lagos State Government has honored 435 retired and retiring teachers and non-teaching staff for their service to the state's education sector. At the 2026 retirees send-forth ceremony, LASUBEB Executive Chairman Dr. Hakeem Babatunde Shittu advised the retirees to prioritize their health and plan for retirement. He described retirement as an inevitable phase that workers should prepare for throughout their careers.
