Hon. Obidike Chukwuebuka, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has stated that Nigerians cannot afford to lose President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, emphasizing the need for continuity to consolidate economic and institutional reforms. In an interview, Obidike, who is Chairman and CEO of Clarivo Holdings Limited, noted that President Tinubu inherited a difficult economy in May 2023 and made bold and painful decisions to address structural problems. He listed the removal of petrol subsidy, foreign exchange reforms, increased revenue mobilisation, student loans, infrastructure development, local government financial autonomy, healthcare reforms, and interventions in the oil and gas sector as key developments under the administration. According to him, the administration should not be assessed only by short-term challenges.
