The Yobe State Police Command has arrested a nine-year-old boy for allegedly setting his family home on fire, resulting in the deaths of his two stepmothers and two younger brothers. The incident occurred in Rugan Badal, Karasuwa Local Government Area. According to police, the boy set the house ablaze as revenge after his father punished him for stealing a fowl. The suspect detailed the act in an interview, stating he bought matches and set the house on fire while the victims were asleep.
