The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) has ordered retired civil servants still occupying government offices to vacate within 48 hours. The commission warned that those continuing to receive salaries after retirement will be investigated. It also directed Permanent Secretaries and Directors of Administration to submit lists of such officers by Friday, October 10, 2026. The action follows a directive from the Head of Civil Service in Circular No. 10/2026, which mandated retired officers to hand over immediately.
