Twenty National Youth Service Corps members and one other person who were abducted in Imo State have regained their freedom. The victims were kidnapped on October 1 when gunmen attacked two buses along the Owerri-Onitsha Road around Umunoha in Mbaitoli Local Government Area. Their release was confirmed, though details of how they were freed were not immediately available.
