Ekiti @ 30: Over ₦50 billion annual IGR, pays workers’ salaries – State Govt

The Ekiti State Government has announced that the state generates over ₦50 billion in annual internally generated revenue (IGR) and is able to pay workers' salaries. The government also reported that dependence on agriculture declined from about 80 per cent in 2005 to 40 per cent in 2017, indicating economic diversification. The statement was made as part of the state's 30th anniversary celebrations. The government highlighted these achievements as signs of progress.
