The Nigerian Army has taken over the Old Oyo National Park in Oyo State as a training ground. Major-General Auwalu Mahmuda, General Officer Commanding, 2 Division, disclosed this on Wednesday in Ibadan. The decision followed the abduction and rescue of victims in Oriire Local Government Area. The move aims to prevent criminals from using the forest as a hideout.
