The African Democratic Congress Presidential Campaign Council (ADC-PCC) has cautioned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) against favouring the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general election. The council stressed that the election would only be credible if INEC remains neutral and ensures that registered voters can collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). In a statement by its Director of Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan, the ADC-PCC said the party's presidential candidate is prepared for the 2027 election, provided INEC guarantees a free, fair, and credible process. Ologbondiyan noted that the number of PVCs collected, not just registration figures, is what empowers citizens on election day.
