Amazon conducted a fresh round of job cuts across several teams on Tuesday, affecting fewer than 1,000 employees. The layoffs impacted various business units, including customer service, marketplace support, and engineering roles in the retail business, as well as positions in India and the UK. This follows approximately 30,000 job eliminations late last year and early this year. Affected employees received emails notifying them of the eliminations.
