AI researcher Jacob Coxon, who recently quit Anthropic, said that pacing the frontier of AI development might not be effective. He stated on a podcast that he is 90% certain Chinese spies have infiltrated US AI labs and could steal progress, potentially catching up. Coxon's comments come after AI chiefs called for a slower pace of development to introduce checks and balances.
