The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State has announced plans to take its 2027 election campaign to the grassroots, covering all 105 wards in the state. According to a timetable released on Wednesday, the party’s LGA-to-LGA campaign tour will begin on November 23, following the inauguration of its State Campaign Council and senatorial district campaign flag-offs. Pre-campaign activities will start with meetings of the State Working Committee, Expanded State Caucus, and State Executive Committee from October 26 to 28. The party will also hold a three-day session of fasting, prayer, and Solemn Assembly from November 5 to 7, followed by a dedication and thanksgiving service on November 8. The State Campaign Council will be inaugurated on November 9, while senatorial district campaign flag-offs are scheduled for November 17.
