Saudi authorities reported that three people were killed in attacks on two international airports in the kingdom, including in Riyadh. The Houthis, backed by Iran, claimed responsibility for firing on both transport hubs. The attacks occurred as Riyadh-backed forces pressed a counter-offensive against the Houthis' territorial gains in Yemen. The United Nations said that since Yemen's civil war reignited in July, more than 200,000 people have been displaced within the country. The Houthis also claimed another attack on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport and warned airlines to avoid Saudi airspace.
