Dr Betta Edu, former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, has been appointed Director of Women Mobilisation for the Presidential Campaign Council. In the weeks since her appointment, she has intensified efforts to organize women at ward and community levels ahead of the 2027 presidential election. Under the leadership of First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Edu's mandate is evolving into a nationwide mobilization enterprise. The initiative focuses on leveraging existing social relationships within communities to enhance political mobilization.
