The traditional ruler of Igbokoda, Oba Afolabi Odidiomo, has commended the pilot of the Nigerian Air Force aircraft that crashed in the Ondo community. The monarch stated that the pilot's actions prevented a greater disaster from occurring. The crash resulted in the deaths of all 25 people on board. Oba Odidiomo made these remarks during an interview with journalists on Wednesday.
