Organisers of the maiden Oyo Empire Day celebration expect no fewer than 60,000 visitors in Oyo this December. They project 20,000 attendees daily for the event, which is described as an ancestral homecoming. The celebration aims to showcase the cultural heritage of the Oyo Empire.
