The Institute of Human Virology in Nigeria (IHVN) has urged media practitioners to intensify awareness of HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). The institute stated that the availability of prevention commodities alone will not guarantee uptake. It also called on the media to help fight stigma associated with HIV.
