Reform Nigeria’s security, reduce costs of foods, transport, NSCIA tells govt

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has called for an urgent and comprehensive reform of Nigeria's security architecture. It expressed support for state police anchored on professionalism, constitutional safeguards, impartiality, accountability and sustainable funding. The council also urged the government to reduce the costs of foods and transport.
