The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to Mr Arinze Nwogba, who is alleged to have impersonated the JAMB registrar, in the sum of N50 million with two sureties in like sum. Justice Salim Ibrahim ruled that the offence was bailable and not a capital offence. The judge noted that the defendant had pledged not to jump bail and would present himself for trial. One of the sureties must be a civil servant not below Grade Level 14 in the federal civil service, and both sureties must reside within the Federal Capital Territory, with one residing in Asokoro, Maitama, or Guzape.
