The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) marked its 55th anniversary in Jos, with Director-General Dr. Afiz Oluwatoyin Ogun highlighting the institution's achievements over the past three years. Ogun stated that the ITF has remained relevant since its establishment in 1971 by adapting to the changing needs of the Nigerian economy and workforce. Under his administration, the Fund has expanded skills acquisition programmes, strengthened partnerships, digitised operations, improved staff welfare, and upgraded training infrastructure. He identified the Skill-Up Artisans (SUPA) programme as a flagship intervention designed to train, certify, and professionalise artisans nationwide.
