Comrade Mark Adebayo, Head of the Directorate of Media and Communications for the Adewole Adebayo-Bugaje Presidential Campaign, has said that worsening insecurity and economic hardship could threaten President Bola Tinubu's re-election in 2027. In an interview with Vanguard in Abuja, Adebayo said rising kidnappings, banditry, and other violence could discourage voters and disrupt campaigns. He blamed the security situation on uncoordinated counter-terrorism strategies, alleged military corruption, and the administration's disconnect from affected communities.
