A UK coroner has ruled that three British sisters who drowned in the sea in Brighton in May died by suicide. The bodies of Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walters, 32, and Rebecca Walters, 31, were recovered from the water in the early hours of May 13 during adverse sea conditions. The women, who could not swim, had traveled from London by pre-booked taxi and were last seen alive on the beach around 3:00 am. Coroner Penelope Schofield said the sisters lived very secluded lives and noted that a day earlier they had visited the area where their mother had drowned herself.
