2027: We’ll also collate, share election results, ADC tells INEC

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has declared that it will document, collate, and share polling-unit results with the public during the 2027 general elections. This decision comes in response to a warning by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Professor Joash Amupitan, against the sharing of privately collated results. In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC asserted that its rights to collate and share election results are protected under the Constitution. The party maintains that it respects INEC's statutory responsibility to declare official election outcomes but will not be deterred from documenting the process.
